Welcome to 4i — a creative workspace for AI video, music videos, stories, and a toolbox of browser-based media utilities. This guide covers how the main features work and how credits are used.

Credits & billing

AI generation features (videos, music videos, stories, and AI images) run on credits. Browser-based tools in the Toolbox are free and don't use credits.

  • 1 credit = 1 EUR. Buy credits from the Buy credits panel in your profile menu (top-right avatar). Minimum purchase is 5 credits.
  • Checkout is handled through PayPal. Your balance is shown in the profile menu and on each model's create form.
  • Cost varies per model and per generation. The estimated credit cost is displayed before you submit a job.

1. AI Video Generation

Open Create to generate videos from a range of AI models. Pick a model, fill in its parameters, and submit a job:

  • Write a clear prompt: instead of "a forest," try "cinematic drone shot of a misty pine forest at sunrise, highly detailed."
  • Model parameters vary: common options include prompt, aspect ratio, duration, and an optional input image. Some aspect ratios require an image input.
  • Track progress under Generations — running jobs also appear in the sidebar, and each finished video has its own page to preview and download.

2. Create Music Video

The Music Video editor lets you assemble video clips and AI generations against a music track, organize them into projects, and export the finished video.

  • Work is saved as projects you can revisit and continue editing.
  • Generations made for a project are available alongside the editor.

3. Stories

The Stories tool builds visual story projects. Write your narrative and generate accompanying visuals; each story is saved as a project you can return to.

4. AI Images

Generate still images with AI Images and browse your generation history. Images can be used as inputs for video models.

5. Toolbox

The Toolbox is a collection of free media utilities. Most run entirely in your browser, so files are processed locally and aren't uploaded:

  • Audio: converter, extractor, length editor, speed/pitch, loudness, noise reduction, silence remover, voice isolation, visualizer, and a combined audio editor.
  • Images: cropper, background remover (WebGPU), converter, bulk resizer, compressor, face blur, OCR, meme generator, color palette extractor, and EXIF viewer/remover.
  • Video: trimmer, joiner, frame extractor, video-to-GIF, and an experimental video editor.
  • Utilities: screen & webcam recorder.

6. Publishing & browsing

Share your work and explore what others have made:

  • Publish singles and music videos from Publish music, and group tracks into Albums.
  • Browse the video and music feeds, search by tag or creator, and visit creator profiles.
  • NSFW content is hidden by default. You can opt in to include it from Settings.

You retain full ownership of the content you create on 4i. See the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy for details, including responsibility for third-party media you upload.
